The Astrophysical Journal has published a paper titled "Discovery of Kiloparsec-Scale Semirelativistic Fe Kα Complex Emission in NGC 5728" by Anna Trindade-Falcaõ et al.
This paper investigates kpc-scale emission consistent with highly redshifted Fe Kα, which suggests outflows from supermassive black holes may retain enough power to shape their host galaxies. It is the second such Chandra paper by Dr. W. Peter Maksym and his collaborators.
Maksym was recognized for contributing to JWST Cycle 3 peer review as an external reviewer. This was his second such JWST peer review.
