Meet TExTOUR: Igor Kuvač

Meeting Igor Kuvač, assistant professor at the University of Banja Luka and coordinator of the Center for Spatial Research ICPROSTOR, which is part of the TExTOUR project.

With the "Meet TExTOUR" interview series, we would like to show the people behind the project. And in this case there are many people behind the realisation of the pop-up pergola installation, in Trebinje, Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The pop-up pergola is an installation realised with the contribution of art students in the Krš neighbourhood. In April 2024 it received the Big See Architecture Award because this installation highlights the potential of public space activation to promote sustainable cultural tourism.

The construction of the pop-up pergola was part of the StartArt!Festival that took place in Trebinje in July 2023 as one of TExTOUR's cultural tourism development actions.
