Terms and conditions governing your use of the press release submission service

Please read these terms of use carefully before using this site.

You are responsible for the content and accuracy of all news copy and other information submitted by you to Science X. Because of the volume of information and copy submitted to Science X, Science X cannot be responsible for verifying facts contained in submitted materials.

Science X reserves the right to review any or all submitted materials in our sole discretion. In addition, Science X reserves the right to alter, edit or remove any submitted materials, in whole or in part, at its sole discretion.

You represent and warrant to Science X that:

you have the right to deliver the submitted materials to Science X,
you will comply with all applicable laws, rules and regulations, including but not limited to the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act of 1998 and laws relating to “spam”,
submitted materials will not contain any content that is obscene, libelous, slanderous or otherwise defamatory, false or misleading or which violates any copyright, right of privacy or publicity or other right of any person; and
submitted materials will not contain any viruses, scripts, macros, or programs or links to macros, scripts, programs, or any code that alters, destroys, infiltrates or inhibits the operation of computer systems.

You shall indemnify and hold harmless Science X, its affiliated companies and its third party vendors, including distributors, from and against any and all claims, losses, damages, liabilities, costs and expenses (including reasonable attorney's fees) arising out of or relating to any breach by you of any representations and/or warranties contained herein or otherwise arising out of or relating to the submitted materials.

Copyright transfer

Where you are invited to submit any contribution to Science X (including any text, photographs, graphics, video or audio) you agree, by submitting your contribution, to grant the Science X a perpetual, royalty-free, non-exclusive, sub-licenseable right and license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, create derivative works from, distribute, perform, play, make available to the public, and exercise all copyright and publicity rights with respect to your contribution worldwide and/or to incorporate your contribution in other works in any media now known or later developed for the full term of any rights that may exist in your contribution, and in accordance with privacy restrictions set out in the Science X's privacy policy.

SCIENCE X MAKES NO WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED (INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND TITLE, AND ANY AND ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES ARISING FROM STATUTE, COURSE OF DEALING, COURSE OF PERFORMANCE OR USAGE OF TRADE), REGARDING THE SERVICE. SCIENCE X DOES NOT WARRANT OR REPRESENT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE FREE FROM ERRORS, INCLUDING OMISSIONS, INTERRUPTIONS, DELAYS, LOSSES OR DEFECTS, WHETHER HUMAN OR MECHANICAL.
