LRF and John Theurer Cancer Center present Lymphoma Rounds program

The Lymphoma Research Foundation (LRF), the nation's largest nonprofit organization devoted exclusively to lymphoma, in collaboration with John Theurer Cancer Center at HackensackUMC, one of the nation's 50 best hospitals for cancer, will bring together top lymphoma experts to discuss the latest practices in the diagnosis and management of lymphoma on Wednesday, June 20 from 6:00 pm – 8:30 pm at the Philadelphia Westin Hotel. This seminar is the final installation of LRF's 2011-2012 Philadelphia Lymphoma Rounds program, a continuing medical education (CME) series focused on the diagnosis and treatment of lymphoma patients.

"Lymphoma Rounds are an integral part of the Lymphoma Research Foundation's professional education services," said Brian Tomlinson, LRF's Chief Program Officer. "This is a great opportunity for physicians and healthcare professionals to review case studies and have specific questions answered from our expert speaking faculty comprised of lymphoma specialists."

The Lymphoma Philadelphia Rounds CME program provides a forum for local healthcare professionals to meet on a regular basis and address issues specific to the diagnosis and treatment of their lymphoma patients. Participants share best practices and learn the latest information on new therapies and advances in the management of lymphoma through interactive case studies presented by lymphoma experts. This seminar's experts will discuss Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia / Small Lymphocytic Lymphoma. How we diagnose and treat lymphoma is constantly evolving," said Anthony Mato, M.D., M.S., Program Chair and Lymphoma Oncologist at John Theurer Cancer Center. " The Philadelphia Rounds Program is an excellent forum for physicians in lymphoma oncology to learn best practices to treat complicated cases and remain on the cutting-edge of research in their field."

The Philadelphia Lymphoma Rounds program is free for healthcare professionals, however, pre-registration is required. Food and refreshments will be provided for registered participants. The University of Nebraska Medical Center, Center for Continuing Education designates this educational activity for a maximum of 1.5 AMA PRA Category I Credit. Parking vouchers will be provided at the registration table for those parked in the Liberty Place Parking Garage, below the Westin.
