Sax's Dangerous Properties of Industrial Materials, 12th edition, 5 volume set

Wiley is pleased to announce the publication of the 12th edition of Sax's Dangerous Properties of Industrial Materials. Since its inception in the early 1950's, these volumes have become an essential resource for those who need to evaluate the hazard of substances used in commerce. Sax's Dangerous Properties of Industrial Materials provides extensive data on approximately 28,000 substances, including 2,400 new substances from the previous edition.

Each entry in Sax's Dangerous Properties of Industrial Materials includes a DPIM code, hazard rating, entry name, CAS number, DOT number, molecular formula, molecular weight, line structural formula, description of material and physical properties, and synonyms. The books also contain Immediately Dangerous to Life or Health (IDLH) levels for approximately 1,000 chemicals.

Sax's Dangerous Properties of Industrial Materials also lists the toxicity data with references for reports of primary skin and eye irritation, mutation, reproductive, carcinogenic, and acute toxic dose data.
