FASEB SRC announces conference registration open for: Signal Transduction in the Immune System

February 4th, 2013

The Federation of American Societies for Experimental Biology (FASEB) announces the opening of registration for the Science Research Conference (SRC): Signal Transduction in the Immune System.

The 2013 FASEB Science Research Conference on Signal Transduction in the Immune System will be focusing on recent advances in our understanding of the molecular mechanisms underlying the immune response. In the recent years, investigations aimed at understanding the innate and adaptive immune responses have provided a wealth of new information on the mechanisms regulating leukocyte activation and function.

Insights into this area have come from a wide array of approaches including human and mouse genetics, biochemical studies, in vivo imaging, cell biological approaches, mathematical modeling, and RNA biology. The overall objectives of this conference will be to bring together researchers in each of these disciplines, and to foster a more rapid and effective integration of the new information. This conference will also aim at disseminating new advances rapidly and broadly, with the expected outcome to benefit our ability to modulate the immune system for combating disease.
