Kalamazoo center of geologic focus this May

Geoscientists from the north-central U.S. and beyond will convene in Kalamazoo, Michigan, USA, on 2-3 May to celebrate GSA's 125th Anniversary and discuss new science, expand on existing science, and explore the unique geologic and historic features of the region, with a special emphasis on the Great Lakes. Events include a showing of Scott Tinker's film, Switch, and a keynote address by William F. Ruddiman titled, "When Did We Transform Earth's Surface?"

Selected Highlights of the Scientific Program
