Treating the whole person with autism

Autism Speaks will hold the National Conference for Families and Professionals, "Treating the Whole Person with Autism: Care Across the Life Span," July 26 - 27, 2013, at the Hilton Columbus in Columbus, Ohio. This two-day program will focus on new approaches to care that combine behavioral and medical therapies to help children, adolescents and adults with autism lead healthy and successful lives. There will be workshops as well as scientific sessions. Featured keynote speakers include pediatrician Paul Carbone, M.D. from the University of Utah's Neurobehavior H.O.M.E. Program and special education expert Stephen Shore, Ed.D from Adelphi University.
