IOF 4th Asia-Pacific Osteoporosis Meeting is influential forum for regional bone research
The IOF Regionals 4th Asia-Pacific Osteoporosis Congress in Hong Kong, expected to attract a record 1500 + specialists and clinicians, will highlight current best practice, clinical advances and the latest research in the field of osteoporosis and related musculoskeletal diseases.
Organized by the International Osteoporosis Foundation (IOF) in cooperation with the Hong Kong Osteoporosis Foundation (HKOF) and the Osteoporosis Society of Hong Kong (OSHK), the Meeting gives investigators from the Asia-Pacific region a unique opportunity to showcase their research abstracts in front of a large international audience. All accepted abstracts will be published in the leading journal 'Osteoporosis International'. The five best research abstracts by young investigators will be eligible for IOF Young Investigator Research Grants.

With its strong clinical focus, the IOF Regionals 4th Asia-Pacific Osteoporosis will offer an enriching scientific programme of direct relevance to daily practice. Plenary sessions will be devoted to epidemiology, bone healing and repair, pathogenesis, secondary fracture prevention, osteoarthritis, therapy/ novel therapeutic options, muscle biology and clinical fragility. Attendees can also attend Roundtables on bone health in postmenopausal women and spine, as well as Meet-the-Expert sessions on a wide variety of topics.
The IOF Regionals 4th Asia-Pacific Osteoporosis Meeting is applying for Hong Kong CME/CPD and European CME accreditation credits.
