FASEB announces BioArt image and video competition winners

The Federation of American Societies for Experimental Biology (FASEB) is proud to announce the winners of its second annual BioArt competition. Winning entries were unveiled on FASEB's web site and will be featured in an exhibit on the National Institutes of Health main campus. "The competition provides a glimpse into the exciting world of biomedical and life science research," said FASEB President Margaret K. Offermann, MD, PhD. "The winning images and videos were produced as a part of daily research activities and demonstrate the incredible breadth of biomedical and life science studies."

FASEB sought to recognize the most captivating representations of cutting edge biomedical and life science research produced by current or former federally funded investigators, contractors, trainees, or members of FASEB constituent societies. The winning images and videos will assist FASEB in its efforts to generate interest among the general public and members of Congress in learning more about biomedical and life science research.
