MARC travel awards announced for the Grant Writing Seminar & Practical Exercises Workshop

FASEB MARC (Maximizing Access to Research Careers) Program has announced the travel award recipients for the Grant Writing Seminar and Practical Exercises Workshop at the Marine Biological Laboratory in Woods Hole, MA from August 26-28, 2012. Awards are given to graduate students, postdocs and new assistant professors who aspire to tenure track and have never written a successful grant application. This year MARC conferred 15 awards totaling $15,000.

The FASEB MARC Program is funded by a grant from the National Institute of General Medical Sciences, National Institutes of Health. A primary goal of the MARC Program is to increase the number and competitiveness of underrepresented minorities engaged in biomedical and behavioral research.
