Biophysical Society Annual Meeting
The Biophysical Society has announced the speakers for the New & Notable Symposium, which will be held at the Society's 58th Annual Meeting in San Francisco, California.
The New & Notable Symposium highlights the latest and most exciting discoveries in biophysics. Speakers are nominated by the Society's membership and selected by the Program Committee less than two months before the meeting. Over 150 nominations were received this year. The session will take place on Sunday, February 16, 10:45 AM – 12:45 PM in the Moscone Convention Center.
Robert Nakamoto of the University of Virginia and chair of the Annual Meeting Program Committee and the New & Notable Symposium explained that "the speakers of this year's New and Notable symposium will present exciting new results that were obtained using a range of biophysical approaches to address very challenging questions. I find it stunning how investigators continue to develop methods to study increasingly complex systems at very high resolution."
