Nearly $130,000 in grants awarded to support clinical nutrition and metabolism research

The American Society for Parenteral and Enteral Nutrition (A.S.P.E.N.) Rhoads Research Foundation today announced that it is awarding nearly $130,000 to support promising clinical nutrition and metabolism research.

In 1994, A.S.P.E.N. recognized the need to fund exceptional scientific research projects submitted by early-career investigators of nutrition therapy, metabolic support, and related clinical nutrition topics, and the A.S.P.E.N. Rhoads Research Foundation was formed. Since that time, the Foundation has provided over $1.3 Million to emerging researchers.

For 2015, the A.S.P.E.N. Rhoads Research Foundation is awarding grants to the following seven investigators:
