'Energy Infrastructure & Development in Israel'
The Office of Academic Entrepreneurship at Stevens Institute of Technology, in cooperation with the Consulate General of Israel in New York and the New Jersey-Israel Commission, has invited the Chief Scientist from the Israeli Ministry of Infrastructure, Dr. Schlomo Wald, to give a talk on Energy Infrastructure and Development in Israel.
The talk will take place Tuesday, November 3, 2009, 11:00 a.m.𔂿:30 p.m. in the 4th-Floor Bissinger Room of the Wesley J. Howe Center on the Stevens campus in Hoboken. The occasion is free and open to the news media and public. A light lunch will be served.
Dr. Wald has served as Chief Scientist of Israel's Ministry of National Infrastructures since 2007. This ministry is responsible for R&D and future planning for the State of Israel in the fields of energy, earth and ocean studies, and national resources, in addition to other areas. Wald previously spent 20 years as a research scientist at the Propulsion Physics Laboratory at the Soreq Nuclear Research Center in Yavneh, Israel.
