28th ECNP Congress for Applied and Translational Neuroscience

Europe's largest meeting for the science and treatment of disorders of the brain, the 28th ECNP Congress of the European College of Neuropsychopharmacology (ECNP) will take place at the Amsterdam RAI from 29 August to 1 September 2015.

Between 5,000 and 6,000 participants are expected to attend the Amsterdam congress. The 2015 congress will include research sessions on:

  • Sleep and depression
  • Compulsivity
  • Addiction
  • Stress

The 2014 congress produced several stories which were reported by the international press, including:

  • Seasonal Affective Disorder (CBS, Time, BBC, and others)
  • Birth season and personality (BBC, Telegraph, Die Welt, Yahoo News, Svenska Dagbladet, The Atlantic, Fox News, Pakistan Today, etc.)
  • Gambling and the brain's reward system (BBC, TIME Magazine, Yahoo News, etc.)
