Stevens team wins First Place in ISPE Student Poster Competition
A team comprised of undergraduate students from Stevens Institute of Technology was awarded top honors in a national poster contest hosted by the International Society for Pharmaceutical Engineering (ISPE).
The annual contest highlights the research conducted by the students and was held last month at the ISPE Annual Meeting in San Diego, Calif.
The winning poster, titled "Evaluation of a Posterior Criciate Ligament Tensioning Device," was presented by Aaron Rella, a Biomedical Engineering major on behalf of his teammates: Mariel Menafra, Katherine Reighard and Jenifer McGuire.
The faculty advisors for the team were Professor Antonio Valdevit and Dr. Vikki Hazelwood.
The team won the regional poster contest conducted by the New Jersey Chapter of ISPE in April, and was one of the six student teams sent to the international competition at the New Jersey Chapter's expense.
