New open access journal: EFORT Open Reviews

The European Federation of National Associations of Orthopaedics and Traumatology (EFORT) and The British Editorial Society of Bone & Joint Surgery are pleased to announce the launch of new open access journal EFORT Open Reviews (EOR), the official journal of EFORT.

Led by Editor-in-Chief Professor Pierre Hoffmeyer, University Hospitals of Geneva, Switzerland, EFORT Open Reviews publishes high quality instructional review articles on all aspects of orthopaedics and traumatology. These reviews aim to bring state-of-the-art practical and theoretical information in a concise format to the reader, from patient assessment and surgical techniques to clinical and basic research topics. The journal is fully open access, meaning all articles published are freely available to read online with no subscription required.

An annual print version of EFORT Open Reviews will be published every year to coincide with the EFORT Congress, featuring selected reviews from the EFORT Open Reviews website and EFORT instructional course lectures.

No Article Publication Charges

EFORT Open Reviews is offering an introductory waiver on all article publication charges (APCs) until 1 January 2017. No APCs will be payable by members of EFORT-affiliated national associations.

The journal welcomes objective, comprehensive review articles across the whole field of orthopaedics and traumatology, from authors from all parts of the world.
