Campus symposium: 'Prevention and treatment of infertility in modern society'

ESHRE invites you to attend its campus symposium on 'Prevention and treatment of infertility in modern society'.

The objectives of the course are:

  • To discuss the pattern of delayed childbearing, the impact of social incentives to childbearing and male attitudes to parenthood
  • To describe risk factors of infertility and discuss strategies for prevention of infertility
  • To describe the policy environment for fertility treatment and discuss equal access to treatment

Here a few of the highlights that will be presented during the course:

  • Postponement of first motherhood and reproductive demography
  • Delaying childbirth—social images and incentives
  • Gender relationships and fertility
  • Male attitudes to deferring parenthood
  • Social inequality and risk factors
  • Cultural factors influencing reimbursement
  • The economics of assisted reproduction

The target audience for this meeting is fertility staff, researchers in reproductive health, policy makers, decision makers and stakeholders in prevention of infertility. You are welcome to register for the symposium before the 29 January.
