Thanks to modern scientific research and advanced technologies, we are closer than ever to creating the superpowers of superheroes such as the X-Men, Wonder Woman, Spider-Man and Iron Man. Secrets of Superhero Science is the 1st conference in the world on the subject of superhero science and technology. It will take place on June 7th, as part of the International Festival of Technology, celebrating the 175th anniversary of Delft University of Technology (TU Delft, The Netherlands).

Barry Fitzgerald, a TU Delft research scientist and author of the book Secrets of Superhero Science, will introduce six speakers who will tell you everything about their work, and how their work could be used to develop superhero technologies in the future. You'll hear about the possibility of mimicking Wolverine's regenerative healing powers, building the foundations of an Iron Man suit, as well as learning how we might manage superpowers when they are introduced into future society.
