Online journal featured MSU paper on ancient fungi

(PhysOrg.com) -- A paper by Frankie Jackson and Jim Schmitt, researchers in the Department of Earth Sciences at Montana State University, was recently featured on BioOne, an online science journal covering topics such as global warming, stem cell research, ecological and biodiversity conservation.

The paper by Jackson and Schmitt examined the ecological relations of Cretaceous fungi in turtle eggs. The paper was originally published in the December 2009 issue of Palaios, a monthly journal about the paleontological and sedimentological records of life on Earth. Palaios editors then selected the article to be featured on BioOne.
