Media advisory: NAE Grand Challenges Summit to be held in Raleigh

North Carolina State University and Duke University will host the first of five summits on the National Academy of Engineering's Grand Challenges for Engineering. The summit series is designed to enhance student interest in engineering, science, and technology entrepreneurship and help prepare the next generation of engineers to address 14 grand challenges, including energy sustainability, health, and nuclear security.

DETAILS: The summit will take place on March 4 and 5 in the State Ballroom at the Raleigh Marriott City Center, 500 Fayetteville Street. A live video webcast of the summit will be available. For more information, visit http://www.grandchallengesummit.org/.
