GenWay Biotech's You Test You puts early cancer detection tool in the hands of consumers

San Diego-based GenWay Biotech, Inc. today announced the availability of the You Test You™ Cancer Assessment that allows patients to test for various types of cancer without having to visit their doctor's office, through a simple blood sample. With a 10-day turnaround time and a cost of $149, You Test You™ is a convenient and low cost way to periodically test for indication of cancer.

The test can be ordered online through the youtestyou.com Web site. The patient completes an online form, which is reviewed by a You Test You™ doctor. Upon approval, the patient visits a local laboratory to have a blood sample taken. You Test You™ is an easily accessible and effective method for detecting evidence of cancer, which may lead to diagnosing and treating cancer earlier. Diagnosing cancer in the early stages can lead to successful treatment and an increased survival rate.
