Media, small businesses invited to ACS Webinar on small and medium businesses
News media, scientists and others interested in finance, entrepreneurship and the chemical sciences are invited to join an American Chemical Society (ACS) Small & Medium Business Webinar on employee ownership.
The ACS Webinars connect you with subject matter experts and global thought leaders in chemical sciences, management, and business to addresses current topics of interest to scientific and engineering professionals. Each webinar includes a short presentation followed by a Q & A session.
Scheduled for Thursday, March 25, 2 - 3 p.m. EST, the free Webinar, "How to Grow Your Small Business into a Large Corporation - The Story of SAIC and the Secret Sauce of Employee Ownership." will feature Martin Staubus, Director of Consulting at the Beyster Institute, University of California San Diego.
Among the topics Staubus will cover are:

Staubus has worked in the employee stock ownership field for more than 20 years and is a nationally recognized expert on the design and operation of programs that give employees an equity stake in the company they work for. Trained as an attorney, Staubus has been a practicing lawyer, has been vice president of human resources in Silicon Valley, and has been a management consultant. He holds a B.A. in economics from UC Berkeley and an M.B.A. in organizational development.
