20 years of PGD (pre-implantation genetic diagnosis)

April 28th, 2010

The programme of this campus activity is divided into three sessions: the past, present and future of PGD, PGD from a patient's perspective and embryology and ethics related to PGD.

The target audience for this meeting is genetic counselors, molecular biologists, cytogeneticists, physicians, nurses, embryologists, patient advocacy groups and patients themselves.

You can find more information on this event here: http://www.eshre.eu/page.aspx/905

You are welcome to register for the symposium before the 21 June 2010.

It is still possible to register onsite. However pre-registration allows us to iron out any queries.

Please note that this workshop takes place straight after ESHRE's 2010 Annual Meeting 27-30 June where we expect more than 8 000 experts in the field of human reproduction and infertility. You are welcome to attend both events.

More information on the scientific programme of ESHRE 2010 can be found here: http://www.eshre.eu/page.aspx/25

Reproductive medicine is one of today's most exciting scientific and clinical areas. Every month brings announcements of research developments, medical 'firsts', new rulings by regulatory bodies, or ethical controversies - often sparking a heated debate among practitioners in the field, ethicists, legislators, the media and the public.

Bona fide journalists, in possession of a recognized press card or a commissioning letter on headed paper from the publication they are working for, may register for free.

Journalists are required to observe embargoes as indicated either by ESHRE staff or by the date/time of the presented session. All sessions are open to the media.

The official language of the course is English.
