World Scientific Publishes 2nd Edition of Analysis and Synthesis of Computer Systems

World Scientific has published the second edition of Analysis and Synthesis of Computer Systems co-authored by the Professors Erol Gelenbe , and Isi Mitrani.
The book provides an overview of the evaluation methods for the performance of computer systems and networks, manufacturing systems, and interconnected services systems. New to this second edition are chapters on numerical methods for queueing models and on G-networks.

Professor Erol Gelenbe is the Head of Intelligent Systems and Networks from Imperial College and the winner of the 2008 Association for Computing Machinery SIGMETRICS Achievement Award, while Professor Isi Mitrani is an Emeritus Professor at the School of Computing Science at the University of Newcastle upon Tyne.
