Register Now for the U.S. Army Medical Research and Materiel Command's 2010 Advanced Technology Applications for Combat Casualty Care (ATACCC) conference Aug. 16-19, St. Pete Beach, Florida.

The ATACCC is the Department of Defense's premier scientific meeting to focus on the battlefield medical needs of our Nation's warfighters and on recent advances in trauma surgery and medicine. The conference generates intense discussion, focused meetings, and informative presentations to help identify strategies and set goals and milestones for the DOD's combat casualty care research programs.

The 2010 meeting will focus on battlefield medical care issues to include blood products, clinical trials, hemorrhage control, neuroprotection research and other combat casualty care research critical areas. In addition, many of the DOD's combat casualty care scientists will present their latest research results in multiple scientific presentations and posters.

The goal of this conference is to provide a forum where scientists and developers have an opportunity to interact with representatives of the war-fighting community to develop new understandings, ideas and concepts to improve battlefield medicine and increase survival rates and well-being.

Media will be able to attend sessions, participate in roundtable discussions on the latest advances in combat casualty care and spend one-on-one time with top researchers and experts.
