Eight employees recognized for 25 years or more of service at Pennington Biomedical

BATON ROUGE—On Friday, Dec. 1, Pennington Biomedical recognized employees celebrating years of service milestones for their tenure at the center. A total of 53 employees were honored, including two recognized for 35 years of service—Ray Allen in Computing Services and Yvette Gray in Fiscal Operations.

"I would like to take this opportunity to congratulate all of the 2023 service awardees for their years of dedication to Pennington Biomedical," said Dr. John Kirwan, Executive Director of Pennington Biomedical. "We thank these employees who work tirelessly on behalf of the Center, and from everyone at Pennington Biomedical, we sincerely appreciate everything you do."

"It is especially noteworthy that Ray Allen and Yvette Gray celebrate 35 years at the Center," Kirwan added. "We celebrate their longevity with Pennington Biomedical from being among the first employees in the door to being part the team still today."

The Pennington Biomedical Research Center is at the forefront of medical discovery as it relates to understanding the triggers of obesity, diabetes, cardiovascular disease, cancer and dementia.
