Fair MusE project launches a survey to shape the future of fairness in the European Music Ecosystem
16th April, 2024—With the launch of a comprehensive survey, the Fair MusE project, funded by the European Union, is taking a significant step towards enhancing fairness within the music industry. With an esteemed Advisory Board, including renowned academics, independent experts, and artists, Fair MusE invites composers, performers, record labels, music professionals, and high-level students to participate in shaping the future of fairness within the European music ecosystem.
The Fair MusE survey aims to explore how various stakeholders, including composers, songwriters, performers, and music industry experts, perceive and address 'fairness' within the European music ecosystem. In an era of increasing policy interest surrounding fairness in a platform-based economy, the project seeks to define what 'fair' truly means and identify aspects that may be considered unfair by industry professionals and stakeholders.
How can you contribute?
For participation, please contact avlassis@uliege.be to share with you an email invitation.
Filling out the survey will take approximately 10-12 minutes. The survey is available in English, French, German, Italian, Greek, and Spanish. Your input will be crucial in shaping the Fair Muse comprehensive report on understandings and perspectives towards 'fairness'.
Data Privacy Assurance
Participants are assured that their personal data will be handled with the utmost care, strictly following the guidelines of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and other relevant EU regulations. The information collected will be exclusively used for research purposes within the Fair MusE project, and confidentiality is a top priority.
