Bone experts, clinicians and osteoporosis patient societies to convene in Valencia, Spain
March 2011 will see the largest gathering of bone health experts, researchers, clinicians and osteoporosis patient societies in Europe. The scientific meetings, organized by Bone and Joint Congresses, are hosted by the International Osteoporosis Foundation and the European Society for Clinical and Economic Aspects of Osteoporosis and Osteoarthritis.

IOF-ESCEO Pre-Clinical Symposium

This new forum for translational and basic bone research features an outstanding programme led by symposium chair Gerard Karsenty. It will be an excellent opportunity for scientists to showcase their latest research and enjoy seven hours of oral presentations, eight cutting edge lectures and four 'Meet the Faculty' sessions on 'how-to' topics of interest to young researchers.
- For the first time ever, 250 euro grants will be offered for all selected oral presentations
- There will be no industry exhibits or sponsorship.
- Very low registration fee of only 150 euro (can be deducted from the ECCEO11-IOF registration fee)

Prior to the scientific meetings IOF will host the largest worldwide gathering of osteoporosis patient societies in the world. Some 150 representatives will attend the biannual IOF Worldwide Conference of Osteoporosis Patient Societies, enjoying three days of informative lectures, valuable interaction and practical workshops.
