ESMO Symposium on Cancer Biology for Clinicians

November 11th, 2010

"This ESMO-symposium will allow bed-side oriented oncologists to grasp key and timely-issues related to cancer biology. All presentations will have a clear focus towards potential clinical implications thus helping clinicians fully comprehend the major consequences that new developments in cancer biology may have in daily care".

Jean-Charles Soria, Symposium Co-Chair

The ESMO Symposium on Cancer Biology for Clinicians will provide a detailed presentation of the molecular mechanisms underpinning the development of cancer and its treatment. Knowledge of the molecular basis of complex cancer processes is important for understanding the natural history of malignant diseases and for designing treatment options.

The program will focus on recent advances in cancer biology with ample opportunity for interaction and discussion with the top-level international program committee.

The symposium full program is available at http://www.esmo.org/events/esmo-symposium-cancer-biology-for-clinicians/program.html

Please contact the ESMO Press Office immediately at media@esmo.org to book a telephone hook-up, to schedule your remote interviews or register for the event.

All sessions are open to journalists and registration is free to bona fide journalists on presentation of a valid press card and a letter of assignment.
