ETIP SNET Brings Europe's Energy Innovation to Enlit 2025

The European Technology and Innovation Platform for Smart Networks for Energy Transition (ETIP SNET) will take part in Enlit Europe 2025, one of the key annual events to connect industries and support Europe's energy transition, held this year at the Bilbao Exhibition Center – BEC (Ronda de Azkue 1, Barakaldo, Spain) from 18th to 20th November.

Visitors will be able to meet ETIP SNET together with BRIDGE – the European Commission initiative gathering Smart Grids, Energy Storage, and Digitalisation Horizon Europe projects – at the EU Project Zone (Hall 5, Stand number 5.F30-S018).

Both initiatives, strongly aligned towards Europe's energy system innovation, will show how European collaboration is shaping the future of smart, sustainable and flexible energy systems.

Over three days, ETIP SNET and BRIDGE will host two dedicated sessions and a half-day ETIP SNET Regional Workshop, offering participants an inside look at the latest policy and research developments.

On Tuesday 18 November (15:45-17:15 CET, Theatre 3, Hall), ETIP SNET will take the stage with "ETIP SNET – Setting the Smart Grid Innovation Agenda". The session will outline ETIP SNET's role in defining Europe's research and innovation priorities for smart grids integration.

The BRIDGE session, titled "BRIDGE-ing Innovation: Digitalisation, Flexibility and Market Update for a Sustainable Energy Future" (Tuesday, 18 November, 10:00-11:30 CET, Theatre 3, Hall 5), will bring together the BRIDGE Working Groups to emphasise their achievements and practical outcomes, exchange perspectives, and discuss emerging challenges in the energy transition.

The week will close with the ETIP SNET Regional Workshop on "Unleashing Flexibility: Buildings and Industry as Active Grid Players" (Thursday, 20 November, 10:00–13:00, Theatre 3, Hall 5). This in-depth session will focus on the pivotal role of energy flexibility in the world of AI, as well as on best practices and use cases of smart grid flexibility from Western European Countries.

"We are pleased to be part of Enlit Europe once again, one of the most inspiring and valuable arenas to connect with Europe's energy community. For ETIP SNET and BRIDGE, Enlit is more than just an event - it's a space where collaboration turns into innovation, and where the ideas shaping Europe's integrated and flexible energy systems come to life."

Beatrice Profeta, Head of Secretariat, ETIP SNET & BRIDGE

By joining forces at Enlit 2025, ETIP SNET and BRIDGE reaffirm their shared commitment to driving innovation and cooperation across the European energy sector.
