Today, we are proud to publish the final video of the POCITYF project—a journey that began in 2019 with a clear mission: to develop sustainable, smart cities while preserving their unique historical and cultural heritage.
Now, in March 2026, we can confidently say that POCITYF has successfully achieved its goals. From innovative urban infrastructure solutions implemented in cities like Alkmaar and Évora to valuable insights into citizen engagement in smart city projects, the initiative has delivered impactful results across Europe.
In this final video, experts and researchers from leading organisations—including INESC, EDP, Energy@Work, and the Municipality of Alkmaar—share key findings and experiences gathered throughout the project.
