Colloquium on Interdisciplinary Climate Science, March 31-April 2

Research on climate science requires an increasingly interdisciplinary perspective. Presenters at the National Academy of Sciences' Sackler Colloquium on April 1 and 2 will discuss ways to identify, encourage, and support advances in climate science by examining successful interdisciplinary efforts in this and other fields.

In addition, U.S. Secretary of Energy Steven Chu will present the 11th annual Sackler Lecture beginning at 6 p.m. on March 31 in the auditorium of the American Association for the Advancement of Science building, 1200 New York Ave., N.W., Washington, D.C.
