Green transportation experts to speak about future of New York City system at NYAS

In honor of Earth Day 2011, the New York Academy of Sciences is presenting several events on green science and technology over the month of April and beyond. Tuesday, April 26, catch the latest trends in green transportation with "Fare and Toll Payment Technologies' Potential Benefits for Sustainability and Society." Learn what may replace your Metrocard and E-ZPass in the next generation of public transportation payment systems and how these will help New York City achieve its sustainability goals in the future.

Join the discussion as panelists Amy Linden of the New Fare Payment Systems, Metropolitan Transportation Authority, Mark F.
