Stanford's Clean Slate Program hosts Open Networking Summit with Founders of OpenFlow/SDN
8/23/11 – Stanford's Clean Slate Program is today unveiling the first annual Open Networking Summit, an unprecedented conference focusing on the origins, current state, and potential of OpenFlow and software-defined networking (SDN). The event will take place on October 17-19, 2011 at Stanford University's Li Ka Shing Center, featuring the early adopters, innovators, and founders of OpenFlow – from The Open Networking Foundation (ONF), Facebook, Verizon, Yahoo!, Microsoft, Internet2, Nicira, Big Switch, Cisco, HP, Juniper, NEC, UC Berkeley, Princeton, Stanford, Georgia Tech, and Indiana University.
The Open Networking Summit offers one day of hands-on tutorials from the best in OpenFlow/SDN, with two days of keynote and invited sessions paneled by thought leaders and media alike.
What to Expect:
- One Day of OpenFlow/SDN Tutorials – At an additional cost, the first day of the Open Networking Summit provides OpenFlow/SDN tutorials targeted toward engineers and decision-makers alike. These tutorials provide an inside view of the platforms and programming tools used among all aspects of OpenFlow/SDN solutions in different network environments.
- Two Days of Keynotes and Sessions – Included in standard registration, learn from panels of industry experts in keynotes and individual sessions.
