Cleveland Neurocritical Care 2011: Across the universe
This weekend, the conference "Cleveland Neurocritical Care 2011: Across the Universe" will be held at the Wolstein Research Building in University Circle, Cleveland. The program is sponsored by University Hospitals Neurological Institute and Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine. The weekend will consist of several sessions for health care professionals and a music and medicine symposium that is open to the public. For the 9th Annual Cleveland Neurocritical Care & Stroke Conference (Oct. 21), a distinguished group of world leaders will review the latest advances in the diagnosis and management of acute stroke. As in the past, this conference will have an innovative, informal, Rock and Roll-themed format so as to create an experience that is both educational and enjoyable. Participants attend on-site or on-line. The 4th Annual CWRU Critical Care Bioinformatics Workshop (Oct. 21) will focus on advances in Health Information Technology and ICU informatics. The 3rd Annual CWRU TCD Ultrasound Workshop (Oct. 22) will provide a complete review of ultrasound principles, techniques, and interpretation.
And finally, the 2nd Annual Cleveland Music and Medicine Symposium (Oct. 22) will explore the fascinating intersection of music and the brain and music and health. This symposium is open to everyone and is available on-line.
