FASEB SRC announces conference registration open for: The Growth Hormone/prolactin Family in Biology & Disease
The Federation of American Societies for Experimental Biology (FASEB) announces the opening of registration for the Science Research Conference (SRC): Growth Hormone / Prolactin Family in Biology & Disease.
This conference will take place July 8-13, 2012 in Snowmass, Colorado. It will bring together the community (academics, clinicians, industry) focused on the growth hormone/prolactin family of hormones in order to stimulate discussion, share unpublished data, improve the understanding of related disease processes and accelerate the discovery of new drugs. To that end, the conference will cover such diverse areas as signaling, development of novel animal models for identifying new physiological functions for GH and PRL in health and disease, new functions/tissues regulated by GH/PRL hormones, biomics profiling of GH/PRL actions and new drug targets/pre-clinical studies. Major efforts to attract young investigators will be made (funding, short talks, posters, informal session with invited speakers, meet-the-professor session).
