Food is for Everyone: CLEVERFOOD project shapes the European food system with a social media campaign

Are you working for a fairer food system? Join our campaign for a #FairFoodRevolution

At the heart of every community lies the fundamental need for nourishment. However, in today's world, access to and distribution of food are far from equitable. Many Europeans are deprived of healthy, sustainable, and affordable options. It is time to challenge this injustice.

Organised by the CLEVERFOOD project within the FOOD2030 Networks, the campaign—"Food is for Everyone: shaping the European food system for a #FairFoodRevolution"—will feature impactful video statements from network representatives. These videos, along with thought-provoking quotes, will advocate for a fairer food system, highlighting that access to food should be a fundamental right rather than a privilege.

This is a call for change, aiming to inspire action and ignite conversations that lead to tangible change.

Each project is encouraged to spread the campaign through its own channels from October 1 to October 18, in line with World Food Day. This campaign provides a platform for participants to highlight how they or their projects are advancing a more equitable food system, while also advocating for those without a voice and ensuring that no one is left behind.

Together, let's amplify our message. Because food is for everyone, and it is time our system reflects this truth. Use #FairFoodRevolution to join the campaign!

Background:

The EU-funded CLEVERFOOD project aims to establish a fair, healthy, and sustainable food system. It created and made operational the two networks: the FOOD 2030 Project Collaboration Network and the FOOD 2030 Connected Lab Network, to effectively achieve its goals.
